Woodstore’s X Factor Miss Frankly Disappointed
Despite a stunning X Factor performance by Woodstore barmaid Graziella and her Miss Frank ‘bookends’ the gritty girl group couldn’t overcome the wildly erratic voting of the public and left the competition.
After a performance the judges described as their ‘best yet’ and much to their disbelief, Graziella’s group appeared in the bottom two on the Sunday show alongside another X Factor favourite Danyl. The judges were unable to split the two acts and Miss Frank only left the competition after the public votes were counted.
This is a bitter disappointment for Graziella and her fans, especially considering the “two horrors” - brothers John and Edward - are still left in the competition.
Graziella worked at the Woodstore before her X Factor journey where, “She was a vivacious, helpful member of staff and who was always smiling,” recollects The Buzz’ senior X Factor correspondent and Woodstore regular Brian Ahearne. “She was dedicated to making the bar a fun environment for the punters. I didn’t know how amazing a singer she was until I saw her performing on the X Factor.” Jamie, another X Factor finalist, is also a Woodstore favourite where he performed on several occasions and was known affectionately as Afro Jamie.
Talented Graziella has previously performed at Glastonbury and supported Amy Winehouse. The X Factor has given her the recognition she finally deserves. In spite of her disappointment Graziella has decided to stay with Miss Frank so fingers crossed this is the start of big things for the gifted group. Keep up to date by following them on
