Omnibus and United residents work together to help the environment

Not every business finds it easy to go green, so to help, The Busworks has implemented a new environmental policy.

About a month ago, The Busworks management team initiated a pilot scheme to improve energy efficiency, reduce building waste and increase recycling habits. The pilot proved successful, so the recycling model is being implemented across all Busworks companies.

"The environment is such a pressing issue, it's important that Busworks residents do our bit," said Sara Bellon of Omnibus House.

A list of "Do's" and "Don'ts" have been signposted around the building, listing items acceptable for recycling.

Also included in the new environmental policy is a once-a-week thorough clean of all offices. Residents can do their bit by placing rubbish bags outside their office doors after work for pickup.
