Top Corner brings local football leagues to The Busworks

Top Corner - one of London's premier sports and social providers - is giving Busworks residents a chance to team 
together for its Caledonian Road Friday Lunchtime League.

The games, which are held every Friday, allow residents to step out of the office for a breath of fresh air and have some fun in a 30-minute afternoon game of football in the "summer sun." Local matches are held just around the corner from the Caledonian Road tube station, giving Busworks residents the close proximity they need for the quick stroll down to the Astroturf football pitches.

"This is a great opportunity for resident businesses to interact with each other outside of the formal work environment," said Katie Gasparro of United House.

To date, The Busworks has two Top Corner teams - United House United and Olympique Omnibus.

Top Corner has 4,000 total competitors playing in its league every week - including a Shillibeers team - in over 22 locations across London. Kick-off times start on the half-hour from noon to 1:30 p.m.
