Out-numbered United House triumphs over Omnibus
The United House pub quiz team defeated three Omnibus teams to win the first
Busworks Pub Quiz, at The Woodstore Bar and Grill last month.
Four teams of four to five people entered the quiz; 3 from Omnibus, against just one from United House.
Amazingly, the “United We Stand” team managed to win with a whopping 41˝ points, with the second place Omnibus team scoring a very respectable 36 points. Quizmaster Rob Jessel, from Parker, Wayne & Kent PR attributed the win to “extra points for a
wonderful model of Katie Price” during the modelling round judged by Woodstore staff,and “100% score on the wine and cheese tasting rounds”.
Marion Morahan, the Manager of Busworks
said “‘Untied We Stand’ did exceptionally well making Untied House proud. We are hoping for a come back from Omnibus in the next quiz. We look forward to the next event and hope for an ever larger turn out.”
