Construction Consultants’ Silver Celebrations
Bankers making loadsamoney and a fragile economy creeping out of recession – no, not 2009 but 1984, the year when one of the Busworks' longest-serving residents first moved in.
25 years later and it must seem as though construction consultants MPA, who threw a party this month to celebrate their silver jubilee at the Busworks, are experiencing déjà vu.
But if today’s Britain seems familiar to MPA, their premises have certainly changed beyond recognition.
“When we first moved in, Omnibus was almost totally open-plan, with hardly any of the smart little offices available these days,” said MPA’s Managing Director Paul Short.
“The toilet and kitchens were all pretty primitive back then – I’m glad to say things have improved enormously, though I do miss the bacon sarnies at the old canteen.”
“With its varied mix of businesses, the Busworks is great for making new business contacts,” continued Paul. More info on MPA at mpa.uk.com
