Busworks’ Local Re-Opens Business
Thirsty Busworks residents are heaving a huge sigh of relief with the news that the local bar has reopened.
Now named The Woodstore Bar and Grill, General Manager, Chris Pollitt has taken the pub back to its Victorian heritage, with 19th century oak tables and Victorian wall lights, creating a soft, warm and elegant interior.
In celebration of the reopening, a new loyalty scheme means every tenth drink is now on the house. He’s also called time on the old pub grub and moved the menu upmarket, while keeping the food affordable. Ali Cairns, Assistant Manager said, “We now serve all-homemade food. And for local workers, there’s a great value canteen lunch menu where they can have a delicious meal for a fiver.”
Other improvements include discounts and events and the reintroduction of Tuesday night’s popular pub quiz.
The sandwich bar has also been revamped and has new offers: a meal deal - sandwich or wrap, drink and snack - is only £3.95; every tenth coffee and every fifth meal is free.
Take advantage of these new great value offers or just pop in for that post work drink and check it out for yourself.
