Lewes' history engenders a great deal of tourism. Since the town's inception it has been an important transport hub, so there's a great deal of passing trade for the retail, workshop and artisan companies The Busworks serves in the area.
It has a wealth of cafes and restaurants to service local office workers and tourists and numerous local recreational amenities, offering a pleasurable place to work.
